Taking a Bearing

Your reason for taking a bearing could be to check that the direction you suspect to be correct is actually correct
This body of work focuses on the earth in moments of transition and transformation. With the depiction of the land I seek to reveal the precarious line that divides creation and
destruction. With the depredation of our natural environment, birds populations throughout the world are declining rapidly. I include birds as a symbol of tenuous and delicate balance. These paintings seek to show respect to, and represent relationships on an infinite level, the interrelationship of all things.
